Terms and Conditions
Welcome to our terms and conditions (“Terms”) for Dolls Museum Shop. Please note that your use of our website is governed by the following Terms. These Terms are between you and Dolls Museum and govern our respective rights and obligations. If you use our website, you accept these Terms.

Warning
The purchaser holds accountable for complying with all applicable laws and regulations, which may vary in each country.
You must be at least 18 years of age or older to purchase at Dolls Museum Shop. No Person under the age of 18 may order products. It is impossible for us to prohibit minors from visiting or making a purchase at Dolls Museum Shop.  Therefore it is his or her guardians that shall supervise children who are under 18 years of age for them not to visit or purchase at our website.

Return and Exchange Policy
At Dolls Museum Shop, our goal is to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase and the service we provide. If you wish to return or exchange your purchase, please send us an email to order@dollsmuseum.jp.

We only accept returns/exchanges when you receive
1) products with manufactured defects.
2) incorrect products.
Please notify us within 72 hours of your order reaching your shipping address.

Your return package must include a copy of the invoice showing the item you wish to return. Dolls Museum Shop will then check the returned item within three business days after the package arrival.

We will send a new product to your billing address or initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your credit card issuer’s policies.
*You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

When you like to return/exchange the item for the reasons above, we strongly recommend that you use a shipping service that provides a tracking number. Please send the tracking number of your returning item via email. We will NOT be able to issue a refund or exchange an article until it is successfully delivered.

*Please send us an email FIRST regarding the damaged item or a wrong item you received before you return the item to our address; otherwise we cannot assist you.
*If your improper use of the item causes the damage, we cannot accept the refund or exchange the item for a new one.

Shipment and Delivery
We offer you free shipping worldwide.

You are responsible for paying all customs fees and your local taxes. Please check your domestic law before making any purchase at Dolls Museum Shop. If you are not sure about the law in where you live, please ask your customs office.

We will not held responsible if the custom seizes the item you purchased in where you live. We could not issue a refund or exchange if the item were taken either. You are the one to make sure whether importing the item you purchased is restricted or prohibited.

Purchased items are usually delivered to your billing address, however, in some cases, the purchaser has to pick them up at the customs according to your local laws. Also, It is advised that the purchaser is at home to sign to receive the package in some countries.
In case that your package is getting shipped back to our address because of your long absence in the home, you must pay your shipping fee again for us to resend the item to your shipping address.

If you haven’t received your order even after the expected delivery date, please check with your local post office. In case you are planning to be away from home for an extended holiday, please let us know in the order note in our ordering form so that we can wait for your package to be shipped until you come home.

Dolls Museum Shop is not responsible for any lost package that is incorrectly addressed due to customer error.
We make our shipping labels based on the information a customer provides, therefore in case you enter an incorrect or incomplete address and your package is lost, Dolls Museum Shop is not responsible. If you enter your address incorrectly on the website, you are bound to inform us immediately (within 24 hours of your order)

Shipping from Japan to foreign countries

It takes approximately 5-14 days for you to receive your order after the completion of your purchase if you live abroad. (Shipping time is not guaranteed).

If we don’t have any stocks of the item you ordered, we will inform you how long it will take to restock it via email. Then you have two options; one is that you wait for the item to be restocked and we will have your item shipped right after it arrives. The other is to cancel your purchase. Please inform us whichever suits you better via email.

The antique items we sell at our websites are unique items and we only stock one item for each kind, therefore when two individuals are trying to order the same item at the same time, one of them will not be able to purchase the item. Whoever completed the payment first will be the one who holds the right to buy the item.

*Time of delivery is estimated as accurately as possible by the carrier but does not take into account any delays beyond our control such as by inclement weather, post office holiday seasons.

Shipping carrier
We ship your package by EMS.
We have full confidence in the shipping company. We have been using their service for a long time but haven’t had serious problems. You can check where your package is by using your tracking number.

*if EMS doesn’t provide their service in your country, you can specify the carrier you would like to use but this may cause extra shipping fee.

Customs Duty
International orders may cause duty fees on arrival in your country. Any customs fees for items are your responsibility. You are the one that to make sure that items are not prohibited in where you live.

The purchaser can choose currency among Yen, US dollar and Yuan to make a purchase on our website.

Typographical Errors
In the case that a Dolls Museum Shop accidentally list products at an incorrect price for system errors or other reasons, we hold the right to cancel your orders. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been completed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Dolls Museum Shop will issue credit/refund for the amount charged.

Registration
You can make your account on our website so that you will be able to facilitate the financial transaction next time you purchase through our website. ( You can purchase in the absence of an account.) Your personal information is protected at our site. You hold responsible for securing your account and password. If you are suspicious of your account being hacked, please notify us immediately so that we can stop the transaction.

Feedback
All comments, feedback, suggestions, ideas offered by customers shall remain Dolls Museum Shop’s properties.
Please make sure that the language is appropriate when posting comments. Reviews with abuse or obscene contents will be removed and blocked from our website.

We are the only one that collects the information on this site. We only have access to information that you give us voluntarily via our order form or email. Our sole purpose to use your personal information is to provide you our service. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We have no intention to share your information with any third parties other than accomplishing your requests, such as giving your name, shipping address and email to our shipping carrier (EMS) or Armor producing company.

We may also share personal information with service providers who help with our business operations such as credit card processing.(Paypal/SWIPE)

Orders
Placing your order with Dolls Museum Shop contains an offer, which we reserve the right to approve or reject at our discretion. No contract will ensue until Dolls Museum Shop has accepted your offer by validating your order. If your order is disproportionately large such as 100 dolls, we may reject your request.

We ask information from you on our order form. To purchase from our website, you must fill out your contact information and financial information. This information is needed for billing purposes and for filling your orders. If we have difficulty in processing an order, we will use this information to reach you.

We implement high safety measures to protect your information. When you provide sensitive information via the website or email, your information is protected. Wherever we collect confidential information (such as your credit card data), that information is encrypted and securely sent to us. Whenever we change or update our Terms and Condition or Privacy Policy, we will post changes and updates on our website for our customers.
