CAFE Kawaii Koinu is a cozy café located on the first floor of the Dolls Museum. Here, you can enjoy aromatic coffee carefully brewed with a siphon, as well as original drinks made with cascara—a superfood that has been gaining attention in recent years.

Cascara is the dried husk of the coffee cherry, said to have about 15 times the antioxidant power of açaí and to help prevent chronic conditions such as diabetes. From 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM, we also offer a hearty morning set (¥850), perfect for starting your day or taking a break during sightseeing.

As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by charming puppy figurines made of silver and ceramics. You can also find special coasters featuring the Kawaii Koinu logo, designed by Rimako Horikawa—an accomplished painter and picture book author—along with an exhibition of her works.
